How long do we keep the scan changes data?

we keep scan changes for the lifetime of the scan, but to manage storage over time, older history is consolidated by merging older scan iterations this consolidation is performed over historical time windows, where multiple older scan iterations are merged into a single iteration if an asset’s state differs between the start and end of a consolidated historical window, the overall change is retained for example, if an asset is created and then removed within a consolidated historical window, that add/remove event will be dropped from the long term change history after consolidation
