Why is my IP's geographic location not showing, or incorrect?

the scan overview and map page will display the published geographic location of the ip addresses that were found in the scan if the ip address location is missing or incorrect , it may be due to one of the following reasons only ip addresses that are in scope will be displayed your services may be hosted behind cloud services, e g cloudflare, and the ips directly hosting your services may not be discovered by asm depending on the cloud hosting we may not find the locations of these ips and when this happens, the map may be sparse or even blank the data source used by hexiosec asm may be out of date
